I'd never actually heard of Hetalia before reading this post. I still know nothing about it, but I kind of hate it now, because apparently all the fans of it are batshit insane.

Hetalia fans are not insane, and I think the fandom is a little too new to get some good, internal wank. Now, some of the Harry Potter or Twilight fans? Some of them are on the Cocoa Puffs mailing-list.

Though Hetalia-based insanity might be kinda amazing. People would be marrying Belgium on the Astral Plane, applying for passports so that they could stalk their countries of choice (what would they do once they get there?) and oh! OH! Fangirls could send angry letters to foreign embassies over NAFTA, because it sunk their favorite ship.

Yeah, we're not there yet. :( We're not there at all.
