I’ve never heard of this book before, so I looked up the synopsis and it sounds like it’s right up my alley, so thanks for making a secret about it, OP! I’m gonna check it out.

I’m the oldest among my siblings and cousins, so when I was a kid, I was always voluntold for babysitting and I fucking hated it. I hated being the responsible one all the time and it always stressed me out when somebody got hurt because I’d get in trouble for not paying closer attention. And my whole extended family still wonders why I don’t want children of my own.

YES! I was in the exact same boat! Hated it! And it is one of the main reasons I don't have any children of my own.
