The moment i spot anything that alerts my 'venting in fic as therapy', i nope out of it.

I'm not a therapist, i don't get paid to deal with fic writers trauma and I'm sure as fuck not commenting with '_____ was so brave! I'm crying because of how beautiful this is' because I'm not rewarding that shit.

Its absolutely a reward thing. You are deluded in believing that it isn't a reward thing.

All fic writers would turn off the comment sections if it wasn't a reward thing.

Omg, the entitlement of fic authors more like!
Fic etiquette is that we don't give unwanted critique and that we should try to comment after we've read a fic. Oh, and to push the silly kudos button.

Comments on a preachy, OOC, therapy fic isn't something that an author is entitled to, especially if the reader hits the return button and doesn't finish whatever slop has been presented to them.
