I've definitely checked out stuff because actors I like were in it (by "like" I don't just mean attracted to) but that was just a gateway. I would never stick with something I didn't enjoy just for an actor (I mean, I wouldn't walk out of the theater in the middle of a movie but I'm not going to keep watching a library DVD or stick with a TV show if I find it boring).
