I can only make a guess as to the reason for NOTP and if it's what i think it is then lol.

Please share. Because other than a personal reason OP has, I can't think of why this would go from "Eh, not into it" into "strict NOTP territory" for anyone.

Nyx is the mother of Thanatos.

Zagreus was brought up thinking that his mother was Nyx until he discovered that his birth mother fled the underworld and Nyx raised him in her absence.

So they were technically raised as brothers??? although the game never actually states that and just says that they are childhood friends.

I say lol to the NOTP potentially being about this because this is a game based around greek mythology and all of the other characters are also in the same family tree more or less so any ship will be problematique.
