On the one hand the poster said she's lost respect for the writers, but is giving credit too Carla, who was written BY the writers. Does she belive carla is a real person or something strugging against the opressive writers??
Or was it as you say, Inspired was used ironically?

Not that the secret was long enough to need such a section, but again, not the point. The point is, is even though she's lost all respect for the writers, they did inspire her, through the character of Carla, to appreciate her body more. Hence, an accurate summary would be that Carla inspired her, although it is admittedly a bit vague after reading the entirety of the secret. Whether her inspiration is motivated via a resolution to have a more positive self-image or spite against everyone who says that women hate their bodies and should do this, that, and the other so maybe they can tolerate how they look and be seen as pleasing to others is absolutely irrelevant. One can be inspired by the urge to spite someone.
