But remember, because this is anonymous, this is as far as it goes. You had a question: how would people really react to this thing about me, and now you have the honest answer, but you personally aren't tainted by it. It won't haunt you. You can go on without worrying that the people you meet will judge you by this, and you won't be tempted to say it where it might effect your reputation.
In a way, those mocking words protect you from committing a public faux pas, whereas if everyone were just nice about it, you might be lulled into thinking that this would be an acceptable thing to talk openly about, and then be stung by it later on.
146) I blame the writers for not having a coherent plot for Elle's death. Seriously, I think at they are just pulling twists out of a hat. It's all so stupidly random and pointless, with no memory for what came before and no foreshadowing for what will happen next. Such a disappointment since the first half of the first season was so beautifully plotted. What was the point of Elle's relationship with Syler? Nothing. It changed nothing. What did she accomplish in a season and a half? Nothing, every attempt to build something has been undercut. No relationship lasts, nothing is created, no existing crisis is averted, it all is all sound and thunder signifying nothing. Ranty rant rant rant.
159) I don't find Legolas particularly interesting at all. He's a finished character -- content with what he is, with no particular reason to grow or let the world change him. He can be a mentor/parent figure for another character, but on his own -- eh. This is the problem with all the elves. They are just too rutted and unchanging.
