Why should they have to? They said "I'm Italian, I find the way they portray Italy to be insulting, derogatory, not amusing, and the title itself offends me." Totally personal language there. Of course they'd include the "I'M ITALIAN" part, because I doubt they'd care about how Italy was portrayed or be insulted by the "USELESS ITALY" part of the series title if they weren't Italian.

If someone needs to get over himself/herself, it's not the OP. See, this is why people need to shut the fuck up when someone else says they're offended by Hetalia. They're allowed to be offended. It's not like they can help it.
