I don't think Hetalia's purpose is to be derogatory or to insult so much as it is to poke fun at countries/WWII history with stereotypes. It's not exactly the same thing. I don't like it but to its credit it's not trying to be offensive.

You're damn right you dont "watch the show"...aside from the fact that it's not out yet, it's nothing like South Park mocking everything or whatever. It's mostly really bad yaoi-baiting and ugly art, with the personalities based on stereotypes.

I agree that anyone who bothers liking/getting offended by it is missing the point, but you're probably missing the point too if you think the point is to insult everything. You should probably try reading it if you don't want to come across mentally retarded.

And what the hell....I don't know what kids shows you even watched. I wish I had any black character celebrate Kwanzaa, I didn't even know the history of it until I was an adult and it's pretty interesting overall.

In any case, assuming you do live in some world where the black kids always celebrated kwanzaa, it can't be more offensive than all the white kids celebrating christmas. sorry.
