I hate seme/uke stuff in fanfic because it always means either stereotyping or character assassination for one or both of the characters, but I don't mind it as much in original stuff because that *is* the canon, and they're not turning regular characters into a hardcore emotionless sex robot and a weepy trembling slutty baby. They're already like that.
