This is really judgmental. As long as something makes someone happy (and isn't hurting others), I don't see why it's wrong to devote time to it. What is considered a healthy normal life is all relative anyway, who are you to judge?

Reading comprehension, my dude.

Do some people use fandom as an unhealthy coping mechanism, pouring their time and focus into it while letting things in their real life go un-attended to? Yes. I would know.
