Dynamics aside, which yeah are problematic bc they're a given and not an option and a choice and a discussion, I've rarely read true BL manga or seen BL anime (not talking about manga or anime with BL subtext) that wasn't dub con or non con. All they do is perpetuate antiquated ideas and stereotypes and reflect how terrible things are in some Asian countries for LGBTIQ+ folk. Slash fic wins every time.
