A tip I've found about starting to get over weird kinks I might have is to...not rationalize it but like, explain to yourself the more real-world reasons why you're into it. Like, for BDSM hentai it might be about the power dynamics, the feeling of helplessness or being controlled in some way, all of which are pretty regular kinks--and can make you feel a little less weird about being into "BDSM hentai". The phrase is niche, but what it accomplishes is less niche; it helps make it feel less taboo.
