Er... Avatar is about world war and genocide, I think there might be some better options for escape OP.

I don't necessarily look for completely happy things in my escape. What I like at ATLA is that is a completely alien world that is thought out and fully realized (less so later when Korra comes around, but at least for the first show). Worldbuilding on that level is rare and it just seems to work for me. I can escape into the world and feel like I'm somewhere else. Usually I can't do that with animation.
