(Anonymous) 2020-11-16 09:57 am (UTC)(link)There really isn't though. This is the type of assumption that any and all forms of sexism is based off of. Gender is not a guideline, everyone is their own individual with their own thoughts and actions. Assuming that, as a whole, one group of people are genetically obliged to to act or think a certain way is literally what bigotry is all about.
You don't wear something like that and not know the context of it, it's painfully obvious. I highly doubt you can buy those things without actively searching for it/have something especially in mind. Boy or girl, fad or no fad, it's a (most likely) very expensive sweatshirt they willingly sought out to buy and wear in an environment that such content is wildly inappropriate.
Honestly I'm guessing it's just the 'in' thing to do, or the students are trolling their school teachers and staff.
Remember these are school age children, I highly doubt the guys would wear their fapping material in public, especially in school where an accidental boner is the absolute /last/ thing they want to display for show-all-and-tell.
If anything the girls are more likely to be the ones who are sexually invested in the content of the sweatshirt since there isn't such a noticeable tell when a girl is turned on so they can get away with being horny and wearing it. (likely a small-marginal type percentage, sure, but still higher than the guys who get off on the content, which is probably around the minuscule-small range.)
