Finally, someone else! the 2 other people so far seem to not be getting it.

I think it's also the awful bro-esque fandom that makes me unable to watch. I basically organize it in my head with the same bin as South Park or Family Guy

It's funny because the gross-out humour in South Park doesn't usually bother me (I've not seen Family Guy in years) but I'm wondering if for me personally this might be a different animation styles thing?

I mean each to their own with R&M but I just couldn't get past Rick's drooling and I really did try. I know there's elements of the show I'd like but that was a hard pass for me.

Strangely I thought the same, but then noticed that the art is kind of... Not that bad int he setting, scenarios and creatures, it's just the main characters that look like crap.

Anyway I gave it a go with some friends and ended up loving it and being able to forgive the art for the great writing but I do understand if it's not everyone's cup of tea.
