It's not at all petty that you prefer not to watch something you don't find interesting.

My sister watches his videos and she says the same thing. She prefers to see him react to the food and talk about whatever he wants. She doesn't like that he has someone because it feels like they're being forced to have a convo. She doesn't watch his new videos either.

I'm not sure whether I prefer it when he's alone because interviews give me embarrassment squick or because I'm jealous of the people who get to eat with him. Although since I found out he and his parents are in the Falun Gong cult, I've been giving him some side-eye.

I don't like it when the podcasts I love do live shows for the same reason. There's something cozy about kicking back watching/listening to your favorite YT/Podcast hosts in the way you're used to. I think most people to it this way tbh.
