Sam's grey wig was hilariously sad, but (as I just watched it out of curiosity) I did laugh out loud at the throw-off mention of Cass.

To the fans- they said that Jack made a bunch of changes in Heaven (or whatever it is) and that Cass helped, so does that mean they're there too, or are they stuck in some perma-death dimension/super-hell?

I took it to mean that Jack (he’s the new god) pulled Cas out of the Empty (or super hell, as everyone’s calling it now) and he’s back in Heaven doing angel things, but it was weird that neither one showed up to say hi to Dean. Don’t get me wrong, I liked seeing our Bobby and knowing he was okay, but it still bugged me.

It made no sense that Cas didn't show up except for the fact they didn't know how to handle the "I love you" confession. I know people are saying Covid but pretty sure Misha Collins lives in Vancouver partly. And it wasn't like he couldn't quarantine for two weeks if needed for the finale of a 15 year old show.

Seriously, he should’ve been there with Bobby to greet Dean in heaven. They didn’t even have to touch on Cas’s confession, just have Dean be happy to see him and then cut to old Sam in the bad wig.

I didn't mind it. I figured that's how the show would end when it first aired. Dean was always going to go out on the job, Sam was supposed to have the life he didn't get with Jess. I'm not mad at anything in particular.
Maybe that there wasn't a bigger reunion in heaven? It would have been cool to see some more of my faves back. Covid would have made that difficult though.

They probably could have written Dean sacrificing himself to save the world or something, but the brothers were always the central part of the show so this seemed fitting.

I did wish we saw more of Eileen. I assume that's who Sam married.

I just wish his death hadn't been so inglorious. It was so run of the mill. But considering how other hunters have died over the years, this isn't too bad. Plus, Dean looked so over everything at this point.

Seconding the bad wig choice for Sam. UGH.and that they only had some woman blurred in the background lol wtf was that?!

But I agree with the Cas is probably going around helping Jack out and at some point the trio shall be reunited

Pretty much this. I have some nit-picks, but it's the ending that Dean always saw for himself, and that Sam always deserved (thought him crying in the car was sad....it's been 13 years since my Dad died, and I'll still sometimes just have a moment and sob).
