Slept in till 10, laying around in bed, gonna go and cook some pasta and see how that goes

Coming down with something, my head feels like it's filling up. Drinking tea right now and about to sort some laundry.

I'm just taking it easy today, doing my laundry and watching NFL football. Got my lounge clothes warm out of the dryer (pj pants and a fleece long-sleeved top) and in an hour I'm doordashing some tea and an order of basil popcorn chicken. My husband's cooking dinner tonight, yay, and we'll watch another episode of The Mandalorian (we just started Season 2 last night).

Just finished watching the Watchmen tv show. Trying to beat this headache that feels like it's beating my head in so I can do do laundry and get groceries.

I wanted to do other stuff today but I feel awful, so bare minimum errands it is.

Resting my foot mostly. I woke up in the middle of the night with shooting pain in my heel. Really hoping I don't have plantar's facciitis again because I can't afford the surgery. Right now laying on my bed icing it for 20 minutes, then off for an hour, then 20 minutes again.

Did do a quick trip out to the bank to get some cash and the pharmacy to pick up some prescriptions I was out of. Wore sneakers.

Watching some Judge Rinder on Youtube because he put up some new videos, and I'm set up to get notifications when new ones go up, so I got dragged down the rabbit hole again. I love him so much. I needed this in my life today.

My cat is at the foot of my bed, annoyed that she can't be on my feet because of the cold thing in the way.

Mom decided this weekend was Christmas Decoration weekend, and since I'm living here rent free that means when she says "I DESIRE THREE CHRISTMAS TREES FOR THE FOYER" I drag up three Christmas trees for the foyer. XD And now I ache.

Church, walk in the woods while the snow gently fell, changed sheets so I had a nice fresh place to lie down and play Animal Crossing (Pocket Camp and New Horizons) and edit that multichapter fic that got me back into writing at all a couple months ago. Now have 10 out of 16 chapters edited enough that they're posted, and AO3 says it's 65k words so far, so looks like I'm on pace for another 100k'er.

Had hoped to do some cleaning up in the living room and maybe put up the tree but my spoons ran out while I was taking the old sheets off the bed so I'm probably just going to stay here except for the occasional wobbly trips to the bathroom and back.

Slept until like 9:30, which was great. Went out with my sisters to the bookstore and thriftshop. Then came home, wrote a criminally tiny bit, then watched this Chinese show called The Guardian.

It's my birthday, so I took myself out to the mall for lunch and got myself a birthday present (calligraphy pens and a new sparkly nose stud shaped like a star.) In a couple of minutes I'm going to have a video chat with my two bffs. it's been a pretty satisfactory birthday I think under the circumstances.

Finished writing a How To guide about indie publishing if you aren't going to play by 'Zon's rules. Dunno what I'm going to do for the rest of the day. I just want all this "mama writer" ginny stuff out of my head.

Finishing up The Crown S4, folding laundry, and dealing with an upset stomach.

Went out for a latte to reward myself for finishing one of my finals. Now I gotta work on the other three.

Bath? Reading? Meditation? Gin?

I write whatever i'm working on for 20 minutes, then I wash up before bed, get into my.PJs, then write whatever I want for another 20 minutes, then read for half an hour.
