Many reasons, starting off with the fact that I'm really not feeling the course myself. It's partly the distance learning, but partly other things. Some things have changed in education, which I dislike. And also other things have NOT changed, which I also dislike.

But my biggest issue, I'd say that it's not really where my heart is. I've tutored before, but I think it's different. I couldn't keep doing the things I was doing before because of both mental and physical health reasons, also the economy. I basically got the opportunity to reschool myself, and went for it because it seemed silly not to, but it's not like it ever was a dream job - and I feel that maybe, to be a teacher, it should be? For me it's more a pragmatic thing.

I also have no idea if I'm actually any good at working with teenagers. I actually wanted to teach adults (but the opportunity I got was for high school teacher).

I think a lot of it will depend on how my internship goes, but it really can go either way.
