I wonder if the OP will be happy when the DVDs for season five come out. Mallozzi said there was a gay scene that was cut for time (probably not as its a woman rather than one of their beloved boys)
Shep seems pretty straight to me (even though I love reading the Toddard fics), now if he was played by John Barrowman that would be another thing entirely

It's fandom. As you've shown yourself, canon is only a small part of what people enjoy - so why the need to paint THEM as some kind of delusional 'other' when they make their fandom choices just like you make yours?
