102. I've always felt that everyone puts a little of his/herself into what he/she writes. Ideas come from our own experiences, after all. Of course, sometimes it's really tacky and obvious, like when (usually in high school AUs) the author makes a character like all of the same bands he/she does or travel in the same social circle he/she does...

Gotcha gotcha. ^^U

In regards to the secret itself, I gotta admit I used to be one of those fans. The earliest scanlations I remember seeing called him Raito, so it was a little hard for me to get used to calling him Light when more informed scanlations/the English manga came out especially since I wasn't studying Japanese at the time and didn't get the pun.

You know, I should've mentioned this in the secret itself, but I'm more forgiving towards fans who got into the series early and it's now more habit than anything else. But I've come across people who say it because they think it makes them cool.

It doesn't. :|
