While I agreed that the OP is worthy of a deep facepalm, Canada did in fact had a pretty active part of WW2, Cuba less so but did contributed.

Sealand didn't exist per say, but what made up of Sealand was a fort that was used in WW2.

I wish people realize that sometimes. Sealand is there probably for the complete opposite reason like N. Italy in terms of historical relevance in this series and it's funny.

I mean, a country who sells royal titles for like 30 bucks and only medals in athletics was egg-tossing contents is comedy waiting to happen.

...well, that comment was obviously a hyperbole.

There is a point to it, though. It's perfectly understandable for the OP to feel offended, since having one of the countries involved being their own does literally hit very close to home. However, if you're going to be calling people out for this one instance, you have to be prepared to call them out on everything else, because the OP's country is not the only one with historical tragedies being seen as 'shippable' in fandom.
