What does Cyprus have to do with it? You are kidding right? I have not seen Hetalia, or whatever it is, but many of those smaller nations I have seen people complaining about played a great role in the conflict even if they were just pawns of the British Empire. Some of the political troubles they have today can trace their beginnings back to that era. Israel, for example.

Well, instead of pouring over a thousand books on Cyprus' history to find out if they actually did participate in the war, I looked them up on Wiki for that one fact. Doesn't do them justice, but it gives a maybe warped idea about the general history without sorting through books. It was an honest mistake that I was going to get around to editing.
