I, too, find G00's writing rather uninspirational. I don't hate it, I don't love it; I just don't care.

But at least prior to Marie and Allelujah getting together, it was at least somewhat interesting to see them struggle with their issues and struggle to find each other and who they were. Now that they're an item, it's all "MISSION SUCCESSFUL! 8Db" and so so uninteresting.

I laughed so hard in the last episode when Allelujah said "Trans-Am" because he looked and sounded so utterly bored. It's as if the character itself knew how much shit the writing for him and Marie is.

It is frustrating, because they don't really have to be this way, it could have been awesome, but right now it just isn't. It is like they are together and they are just going to wait for the OMG MOMENT OF ANGST, without ever trying to build up or get us to care about said upcoming angst.

I think the problem is there is too many characters and that sets off the pacing and makes it hard for you to care about any one character because they are never focused on enough, but they don't have time to lengthen that focus so you just get a bunch of people you vaguely care about running around doing things that you just barely care about.
