Funny - it was the history nut in me that led me to this series and what keeps me loving it, despite the fact that the history of my country has been similar to that of Lithuania. I wonder if this makes me a bad history nut... (damn, I guess I should turn in my degree or something... but maybe it's okay because the character that represents my country is a brown-haired girl?)

I don't know. I mean there are some people who look at discrepencies and then treatment of countries and probalby like it. I just looked at countries of my ancestry and roll my eyes.

I think though that you can be a history major and enjoy it. As long as you learn something and keep in mind that it's not exactly accurate, then there's no need to turn in your degree :D

I've just been studying WWII since I was veyr little and it's an imporant subject to me because it affected my family in many ways, so if Hetalia was a little more accurate, I probably would love it.
