I also agree. I would never use cheats in multiplayer, but I've been cheating in single player since I discovered DOOM cheat codes as a preteen. I love games, but I suck at platforming and combat. But give me a God Mode cheat, and I'm having fun again.

I also like using cheats to spice up a game I've played multiple times through. After raising four characters to max the proper way in one of the current games I'm playing, my fifth I'm going total ham and having so much fun (most powerful gathering tools/weapons, endgame goodies unlocked, etc.).

For online games, autobattlers are my jam because they play better than me. But I like getting the login prizes and occasional gacha draw.

So.. yeah. Hardcore gamers could never understand having fun by making things easy, because that's not the way they play. So I just play by myself in my little corner of the gaming world.
