as someone who played soulsborne games idg why the fandom thinks “git gud” is some kind of own because I literally got through 70% of bloodborne by exploiting a glitched door and grinding to level 30 before facing the first boss and it carried me all the way till the difficulty spike by which point I was level 80sonething and facetanked the majority of the game until they kept throwing bullshit npc hunters at me.

An easy mode actually might have been more challenging because I wouldn’t felt a need to grind my way to being nigh unkillable and maybe actually bothered to learn the mechanics instead of the easiest exploit ever that is -

1) pick the hunters axe
2) dump all your points in HP and str
3) Spin2Win
4) profit

All souls games have that built in easy mode tbh. Grind, over level, win.
