I love Deb. Every time someone shit talks her OR her acting, it frustrates me to no end. I love the way Jennifer Carpenter plays Deb. It's awkward and realistic to me. Like Dexter is so manicured and perfected when he speaks, taking the right pauses and saying the right things. Deb is awkward, stumbles over her words, paces things poorly and curses like a sailor because that's WHO she is. Not used to the spotlight and not used to speaking in front of people.

lol random rant, but I hate all the Deb hate. =(

I love Deb too. I think she's an awesome member of the force. I like all the women on the show, actually.
