143. The thing is, people can't help but judge a series like that sometimes. If the art style just bothers them, they're not going to be able to relax and submerge themselves into the series, and I can see where it would frustrate them and keep them from enjoying it. I don't have this problem for most things -- the one that came closest was DBZ, but that one's plot didn't interest me either, the art was just the tipping point when I was already leaning away from it. (Though I've seen a few episodes and they made me laugh -- cute series really is cute, seriously, and I've got nothing against it.)

But... yeah. Sometimes people just can't suspend their disbelief if all they can focus on is that the graphics really bother them. And that's fine, 'cos they aren't obligated to like it. It's a shame, especially if they're missing out on a plot/characters that they'd love if they could get past the art, but if they can't, they just can't.

152. I don't really get the lack of seperation between the canon and the fandom, either. It's odd. /unhelpful

But that is pretty much it falls under looking at a huge, varied group of people and putting them all in one little box and making horrible generalizations just so you can look down on them. It's gotten to the point where the only thing that can make me start judging people is if they're judging people for stupid shit. 8|

161. I don't know about anyone else, but when I really love a band's music, I never look at who else their producer... produced. :x I never think to. Is this bad?

163. Because someone's taste in one band clearly shows you their entire musical taste without you even bothering to know what other bands they like. Obviously.

not!secret #2: Cue the people who will still not be able to comprehend how calling a girl a slut because she didn't save herself for Harry when he had absolutely no interest in her, and dared to be involved with more than one guy in the course of her life.

not!secret #4: Not gonna lie, I lol'd. Hard. XD I don't think I will ever understand how people blame a character designer for characterization or plot details they didn't like.

not!secret #5: The thing I don't get is that people don't seem to realize that the only blonde countries in the series are the Aryan nations. America, England, and especially Germany being blonde makes sense. Any country where the character being blonde wouldn't make sense? Isn't blonde. Most people who pull the THEY'RE ALL BLONDE OMG card obviously have no idea what they're talking about -- the African, I think, who was bitterly insisting that her country would have blonde hair a blue eyes? Why would s/he, if all of the Asian countries look Asian and all of the Hispanic countries look Hispanic? :/ I don't get all the weirdness about this.



ALL SECRETS ABOUT BEING ASHAMED OF BEING HYPOCRITES: Obviously, the solution here is to say "oops, my bad" and stop being a hypocrite. :/ Is it that hard? You already said "I get it now" here and obviously are embarrassed to be a hypocrite. You can say you get it now outside of F!S and outside of anon, too.
