i hate triggering. I know I talked to koton in hakonesia, that's the first half of his sidequest, but when I go to Izoold right after chapter 4 starts and then go back to Hakonesia, RICHTER ISN'T THERE argh

am I doing something wrong?

Hmm... I think I triggered it earlier than that, not sure. I know you can't trigger the Camberto Caves section of the subquest until after you've done the Caves in the main game, but I'm not sure about the timing for the first part.

/o/ bah. My usual way of playing tales games is go through the basic story as fast as possible, become a grade whore, and then replay it and do all the little questy things while being insanely overpowered, anyway.

See, I tend to be obsessive about doing everything on my first playthrough, but I rushed ToS2 for the story. (This here journal is why, heh. I'd already seen it all in Japanese but I wanted to see how things were translated before apping him anywhere.)
