HIMYM! I think I could ship this in the earlier seasons. Ted just became too unlikable in the later seasons to be shippable with anyone. Honestly I wanted even the Mother to just run.

I remember a few episodes where Marshall and Lily were off doing whatever and i realised that i really loved the dynamic of Ted and Barney together.
It wasn't even as a ship, i was wondering why Marshall was Ted's best friend when the writers were putting so little effort into it.
