Msscribe was a giant BNF in ye olde Harry Potter fandom back when people still used Livejournal regularly. She's notorious for causing all kinds of batshit drama via multiple sockpuppets and lied about things such as getting fired from the political campaign she was a part of because they found her fic somehow.

She was BFFs with Cassandra Claire so honestly that's all you really need to know.

I found this video explained the entire chain of events really well. It's a little over an hour long, but it tells the Msscribe story really well. I didn't know anything at all about this controversy until this video was recced to me on Youtube a few months ago. Makes me glad I never got heavily into the HP fandom.
