Booth's gambling problem starting back up and Bones just paying off his debt. There were a lot of stories that grated the wrong way, but that one stood out.

Chris' from S.W.A.T's backstory. She's the only female S.W.A.T. member on the team, so they wanted her to do a fluff piece about why she was on S.W.A.T. and they went the worst backstory you could think of. I quit watching. Like, it makes you wonder if they DO have a dartboard.

Sadly, Rizolli and Isles got cancelled, so the plot between Jane and Kent got destroyed in the last three to five episodes and thus never resolved as they shoehorned in "blue eyed" FBI guy. I was so confused. They outright said Kent had a crush on Jane and that's pretty much where they ended up leaving it. Ah!

The Courtship of Princess Leia in Legends Star Wars EU. It happened. I don't know why Lucas even approved it. It was just that bad. And Luke's story suffered too in that book.

Books 4 and 5 of the Others series, things started going off the rails somehow with the ending of book 5 being like 3 steps back. I guess she wrote 2 more books but the whole plot to kidnap the main character to take her back to her prison rubbed me the wrong way.

And in Book 3 of the Joust series by Lackey, they make it sound like Kiron has magic himself. Then to totally ignore it in book 4. Then it was over and I was like "well, I guess."

CoPL was a terrible book in ever so many highly bonkers ways, but I did find the matriarchal cultures it introduced interesting
