I initially read that as HIS base, and that's a phrase I've only ever seen (at least that I can remember) in the context of Donald Trump, so it gave me some kind of weird feelings. :P

But yeah, the case of the week/X-Files vibe was way more interesting to me than what the show became later, and I hated Castiel too. (Well, maybe hate is too strong a word, but I seriously disliked him.)
