No, I use GIMP. But these tips have nothing to do with the editing program. I know most fs-ers use simpler programs or online services, so I don't have anything specific to picture editing suites. It's more about Google image search tips, design choices, and how to go about the process. All very basic.

Ugh, I sound like I think I'm an expert and better than everyone else. I'm not, I've just been doing this for a while and figured some stuff out along the way.

GIMP! This was my first and preferred graphics program back when I used to make icons and banners (shout out to quizilla forums with tutorials that I will likely never find again lol).

Do you have any favorite tutorials or tips you'd like to share?

Icons and banners ... yeah, I used to do those, too ... It took me ages but it was fun. I'm a fiddler, it suited me.

Tutorials for GIMP? Nah. I think I'm doing okay with it but I still feel like I'm only using maaaybe 2 % of what it can do. And I learned that by playing around, reading the manual and websearches. I'm not qualified to make or recommend tutorials.
