I wasn't necessarily saying the two words meant the same thing or were on equal footing, I was apologizing and amending that perhaps I should've used a less objectionable word.

DA - I got your meaning. I think most people probably did. AYRT seems weirdly tetchy about this non-issue.

It's usually pretty clear when someone's using the word cunt in a casual way, and not casting vicious aspersions against a woman.
