Grandpa Joe talked Charlie into stealing the damn fizzy lifting drinks. Why does the movie make Wonka out to be the bad guy for getting pissed at him for it?

I've always been pissed that Charlie didn't take his mother with him, honestly. Pretty sure she needed the day off more than Grandpa Joe.
