That's your right.

Another good option I've seen people do is rewriting them to make them better and either editing the old posts to reflect this with the appropriate author's notes. Or putting up a "version 2.0" type of thing.

I know I deleted a lot of my fic from my first 3 fandoms. And I found it later in text files no less, and it wasn't horrible, it was just something I wrote back when I was 15,16. I did end up revisiting one of the fandoms again but now all that worldbuilding is going into something original and i can't post it. Bah!
