I’m really not sure which fandom this is. First thing that comes to mind is Brand New Animal, and while the MC isn’t as childish in canon as she is in fics, she’s still kinda childish. I guess this could plausibly be a thing in Arknights fandom? And I’ve seen childish no-self-awareness Luna in Friendship is Magic, but I’ve seen almost every personality attributed to Luna in FIM.

I've seen it in virtually every fandom i've been in recently, and some of the worst authors for it are in their 30s and 40s. :/

Yeah this could apply to pretty much every fandom I've been in recently tbh. It makes me nope out of a lot of fics unfortunately.
