I don't think your framing this completely honestly OP.

This is the group that settled the lawsuit, continued with the shity label until 2018 when the contracts started to end and then they all went solo (apart from the sexual assault guy who dropped off the radar) right?

The contracts were over. Nothing would have stopped them from forming another group. Not back then and not now. They made their choices and they're moving on with their lives.

I'm sorry that they didn't want to be the prophesied BTS killers, I truly am. But perhaps consider that they just didn't want to use their edgy dancing powers for the evil boyband corporations anymore?
