"I DIDN'T EXPECT TO SHIP THIS!!" but here we are!

Explanations are not expected, but are appreciated!

Watching YYH, I now ship Shizuru (Kuwabara's older sister) with Hiei.

Reason: I really like both characters -- Hiei is such a little shit and so mean, and Shizuru is so blasé about everything (but secretly cares, and shows it more than Hiei). I just feel like their personalities could work together, and Kuwabara's shock would be hilarious (considering the other situation I won't disclose for any re-watchers).

Yoooooo~ That is a good ship. Shizuru is seriously underrated and I love her with anyone. I've always liked her with Botan too. On the YYH front, I was surprised to find myself really into Jin/Yusuke and Hiei/Bui. IDK. There's a lot of chemistry there, IMHO. I love how fanboy-y Jin gets towards the end of the season for Yusuke and with Bui, well, let's be real, that pronounced size difference turns me on.

Going into Valkyria Revolution, I bought the game for the hot guys but stayed for the girls, all of which I dom-ship with the MC.

Jin x Yusuke are really just kindred spirits to me! I would love to see an episode of them just hanging out and what not. They...understand each other in a way others can't seem to?

Anyway, I love your motivations for Valkyria! lol I feel that way about a lot of things -- I came for the hot guys, end up staying for other reasons. I don't know if it's in your wheelhouse, but you may enjoy Legend of the Seeker (TV) if only for Cara? I forget her name, but she became one of my favorite characters despite how much I wanted her gone at first (plus she wears a killer burgundy leather catsuit and the whole thing gives off very domme-y vibes haha).

I expected to come out of The Untamed shipping LWJ/WWX like everyone else... ended up falling into the spiky pit of Xiyao hell instead. Lmao. Oops.

The reason for me at least is 1) LXC+JGY were my 1st+2nd faves respectively and thus their dynamic appealed to me 2) I really didn't like WWX as a character so I never ended up clicking with LWJ/WWX(I don't hate the ship, I just don't care).

Hector/Lenore from Castlevania, until the season 3 finale.

But then I found two fanfics that is an au, while the other is canon divergent so I'm like, okay...

I have to finish watching this show! I picked it up when it was released at first, but then I dropped netflix before S2 came out. SIGH. I'll keep an out for those characters!

Have fun picking up the show again! Although season 3 was shocking to say the least. I really didn't expect to have a new ship but here I am.

Before I started watching TOS I was aware that there was a particular "almost canon no really" ship.

Once I was watching it myself I was like "wtf, why does everyone ship Spock with KIRK? Clearly it's all about him and Bones."

I mean I will still add Kirk in for an OT3, and I guess I can see why people would ship Kirk/Spock. But I just don't see why MORE people don't ship Spock/Bones. Holy crap the UST. I can think of three occasions off the top of my head where my brain seriously thought they were about to kiss and then realized no, this is a classic TV show...

I can see where KS comes from absolutely. I just find Spock and Bones to have way more tension between them. Kirk and Spock have a lot of affection between them, which I love watching, but i'm personally happy to interpret it as friendship. :)

Yesssss, Kirk and Spock are clearly best friends. Their fondness for each other is open and apparent and kind.

Meanwhile Spock and Bones obviously also have a great deal of respect/affection for one another, but mostly insist on pretending they can't stand each other, and when particularly vulnerable in close proximity either confess that respect/affection sincerely or shove the other up against walls and get in their face.

I mean... seriously. Lock 'em in a closet or something.

I'm normally not that into beastperson/human type ships, AND Link/Zelda has been like... a diehard ship for me since I was a child, but now that I've finally gotten around to Breath of the Wild?

What the FUCK why do I ship Link SO HARD with this charming fish man?! And as if that weren't bad enough, my brain vaulted DIRECTLY into the dirty side of things and has me thinking way too hard about that size difference and what Sidon has going on downstairs. help.

Bonus: Urbosa/Zelda took me totally by surprise and it is also intensely hot, but I don't seem to see very much of that? Like please. Urbosa could break that girl in half and they'd both love it. Unf.

I know this one seems pretty supported by the canon, but I ship all the Abrasax family members with each other from Jupiter Ascending.

The relationship between Shilo and her father from Repo The Genetic Opera also screams "covert incest."
