Oh man, I definitely agree.

The argument OP shared seems to come down to whether or not Hollywood is making decisions solely on financial reasoning and without any other factors involved, so I figured I'd add my two cents. Like I said, I think they're always looking for reasons and easy answers.

I don't offer that perspective because I condone it, though. Because, like, fuck yeah. It's super stupid. And if we want to have a bigger conversation about the grand-scale stupidity of Hollywood execs, I'm HERE for it. I can talk "Why are they like this" all day haha.
