Ooh. Okay. You hit on a nuance I hadn't considered, but now realize I agree with. To me a lot of dom/sub stuff comes down to personality, which isn't the case with top/bottom to me.

Yup. I wish dom/sub weren't so tied to top/bottom in most people's mins because mixing them up makes for much more varied and interesting porn. But it just doesn't seem to be written that much.
