Though I also really think you're underwriting the others too. Take Larxene -- you protest the fact she's one of the first to be killed by Sora, but there are a total of six Org members in CoM: Axel, Larxene, Marluxia, Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion. Axel doesn't die in CoM. So, five characters die. Lexaeus, Vexen, and Zexion aren't killed by Sora. So, two characters are killed by Sora. One of them is the final boss. The other dies earlier. You know? It doesn't seem to me she's refrigeratored because she's a girl or whatever, it seems to me that she's one of the first killed by Sora because, of the two, she's the one in the plot role that demands being killed earlier. And she isn't actually killed early -- you have to fight her more than once, and she's aroudn until quite late in the game, and gets a lot of development in it. That's a long ramble (and I hope I don't sound aggressive or whatever! I'm just trying to point it out, I'm not like >O OH NOES SOMEONE IS WRONG or whatever) but basically I don't see that as a way to dismiss her and her development. (Of course, I'm also known to discuss how Lexaeus has character depth, and he gets maybe a fraction of her screentime and depth). As for Olette, yeah, but she doesn't get less than Pence or Hayner, who are in similar roles. There's way too few characters, but the ones that Nomura has are good and develop according to their role. IMHO, anyway
Yeah, like I said, we do need more characters. I'd love to see more! I'm glad the Org gets another chick, and I'm really curious as to what the tie (if any) will be to Aqua. Which is just fantheorizing but :3
