Carl Sagan worked with a lady called Ann Druyen in deciding what should be put on the record of sounds to be sent into space with the Voyager spacecraft. They fell madly in love while doing so and were married until Sagan's death.

Two of our solar system's comets are named after them - Sagan and Druyen, the idea being that they are dancing through space together forever.

Eh, wasn't he married to someone else at the time? Makes it slightly less romantic.

I watched a doc about the project, and it seems to have been a fun time for everyone working on it.
