I've made cottage pie a few times - it's so tasty. Monstrous and her bf love it, so I ended up giving them the recipe and they make it all the time.

She tracks hers with some online tracker thing, and it was just super early. I think it was stress - she was sick for a few days, and so of course her body goes haywire.

That's so sweet! <3
My mom has a bunch of her own mother recipes that are absolutely divine!- It's always wonderful to make a dish thats been in the family. She has this barque sauce recipe I stole that literally saved me from a failing grade back in high school, best ever! (I missed the first day of the exam and whipped up everything on the second, I was the last one finished by far but damn if that wasn't the most exhilarating meal I've ever made!)

I've always wondered about using those trackers myself. I hope she didn't sick too bad!- and getting her period right then, yeesh!, that's no fun at all!

She likes the tracker because it helps make sure she's not surprised at work, but her period's are still kinda erratic.... I think it's a combination of her overall anxiety issues and her weight, which is fairly low (not dangerously so, just low). I think it makes her body a little hard to predict.

Wow - cooking as an exam? Even in our (laughably stupid) Home Ec class I took, there was no cooking in the exam. Neat! :D
