142. Haha, THIS. I especially hate it when people say that and then want to move to Japan and become 'mangaka' themselves. Though I don't see why we need to use the word "mangaka." It's just a person who writes/draws comics. But I use 'manga' often enough so I guess I'm a hypocrite too.

I tried to find some good OEL manga in the bookstore the other day. That ended in failure. It doesn't help that the comic section there is divided into "Superhero" and "Other."

Anyone know some good OEL series to get into?

163. Nah, that's about what mine looks like, too (we even have a few series in common). I like a huge mix of things. It keeps me from getting bored and feeling like I'm watching/reading/playing the same thing over and over again.

168. ...porn for what fandom? Honestly, you need to be more specific than that. Most people stash away the porn they write on their ljs, occasionally going to fandom or pairing specific comms. I don't know many who actually go to aff.

142. As for OEL reccs, I never found it past the second volume, but I really enjoyed Shutterbox, myself. c:

Oh, and I Luv Halloween. But uh. Lmao, you'll either love or hate that one, I believe (think Johnny the Homicidal Maniac? totally not for everyone, derp ;;).

I also love me a few Korean manhwas, like Kill Me Kiss Me and Ragnarok. I need to check out some more non-manga "manga". 8)
