103. Dudddddddddde. Unless you personally know everyone, calm down. It is disconcerting when film makers do that and I doubt a majority don't care about it because if they truly were, they wouldn't blink an eye at the casting. Jesus, your passion to fight racism is nice and all, but it doesn't mean to leave logic ahead, y'know. I don't like Avatar and all, but I can understand the disappointment.

119. Personally, the hate is stupid too. There are a lot of flaws to Naruto, especially after Part 1 ended (enough for me to drop it anyway). But a lot of criticism I found against was pretty silly though to me. I think a lot of it has to do that it's pretty much the most popular mango in the world currently (although One Piece is king in Japan).

121. But annoys me about this secret is that if being a bottom means that you have to be submissive. No, just no, dammit. You can bottom and very aggressive, dammit.

128. It may not be because of Hetalia, but anime/manga in general. I don't see how anyone can say Hetalia is BL (which it really isn't) when the covers never indicate otherwise. The person is probably very self-conscious and nothing more. I notice that people do that when I'm shopping in Manhattan for manga, especially when I come close (supposedly one of my friends told me that I don't look like a typical anime/manga fan, especially when I was working and had a suit on).

139. I don't think I can't like an actor/actress because they like a certain team. Of course, the team I always root for in basketball is the New York Knicks! Although, admittedly, I do get a little annoyed when Matt Damon and Ben Affleck make any mention of supporting the Boston Red Sox. HURR DERP.

160. That supremely sucks and I prolly would've tell them to back off in a not-so-nice way. It is kinda sad there isn't any sort of program or something of the like to promote understanding of asexuality and that's it's normal.

163. ~~THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.~~ Variety is the spice of life especially with media. I like many genres and demographics that I'm usually have no problem find something entertaining (and why I think people who like older anime who are claiming there's no good anime these days are overexaggerating). Actually, I wish there were more people like that. I love variety.

I'm self-conscious buying manga in public for several reasons. One, most people who hang around the manga section are teenagers, and I'm trying really hard to assert the fact that I'm a professional adult, etc. all the time, maybe too hard, so I tend to feel childish shopping around in that section. Second of all, I have really specific tastes in anime/manga and I hate to be thought of as the type of person who is obsessed with manga in general. Non-anime fans tend to be really judgmental sometimes.

I care too much about what strangers think of me to buy manga publicly, and often I force my husband to hang around me and walk up to the register with me so at least I won't look like a lonely loser. Sorry for the random tl;dr, I just felt like sharing
