It's Granny Weatherwax, from Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. She's exactly as much of a badass as she looks right there.

See, and here I was thinking "She kind of reminds me of Granny Weatherwax".

I should read more Terry Pratchett.

You were totally on the right track! Terry Pratchett is awesome. My absolute favorites are the ones with Moist von Lipwig. He's the best.

Also, Good Omens is the best thing ever. How much of his stuff have you read?

BLUE BEETLE! Jaime is my hero! And I can't believe they're cancelling it... agh... it's so depressing.

Um, I read his Tiffany Aching books (that's where I remember Granny Weatherwax from), and the first few - The Light Fantastic to Wyrd Sisters. I got the impression that his later books are better? (I did like Mort though) Do they really need to be read in order? If not, it would be nice if you could recommend me some.

I may or may not have been sulking for a week after hearing the news.

I LOVE the feegles! And I may or may not regularly quote them... umm.... The books definitely get better later on. Personally, I find the first few reeeally boring. Mostly they don't need to be read in order. Some of them involve recurring characters (like Vimes and the guards, and Granny Weatherwax), but even with those you can sort of get the idea if you start in the middle.

I'd definitely recommend Small Gods (this is a stand-alone one, so you don't need much context), Thief of Time, Moving Pictures, Lords and Ladies (featuring Granny Weatherwax, kicking faerie ass and taking serious names) Men at Arms (Vimes and the watch are SO cool), Monstrous Regiment, Going Postal and Making Money (both starring Moist von Lipwig- these ones are my favorites out of the whole series), and Hogfather. Those are just my favorites!

ME TOO. He's still in Teen Titans, but it's just not the same... What about Brenda and Paco? and Peacemaker? he had BETTER come back soon! TT_____TT

Yeah, there were good bits in the first few but I found Tiffany's flow better. But I did hear they get better later on.

Oh thank god. Whenever I meet a fellow Jaime fan (outside of Scans_Daily), they always seem to say, "Well, at least he'll be in Teen Titans." He'll be in TT, but the rest won't be. I like Jaime, but I love the rest of the cast too.
